Hey guys! ! As Rec Chairs, it’s up to us to provide the (FREE) music events on the quad during the school year. All of the rec shows are free to the public! We’ve had many fantastic artists grace our LBC quad in the past such as (but not limited to) Vampire Weekend, The Radiators, Galactic, Rebirth Brass Band, and the Soul Rebels.
As Rec Chairs, we also serve as liaison between TUCP and other Tulane student groups. We’re the Music Chair for the Homecoming Committee Tidal Wave and Co-Music Chair for Crawfest in the spring!
We are really looking forward to providing awesome rec shows this year! Rec shows are a great de-stresser from all that school work, as well as an excuse to get outside with friends and listen to some awesome music! If you have any good ideas for bands you’d like to see, or if you just want to help out with some of the shows, feel free to e-mail! We are always looking for new ideas!
